The
course nestles in 660 acres of the Clan
Colquhoun Estate and is surrounded by the
breathtaking scenery of the mountains and loch. The
course is criss-crossed by streams, awash with
marshes and cloaked in fabulous mature trees.
Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, the 7,100
yard parkland course is considered to be among the
'Top 100' finest golf courses in the world. The
course is a true test for even the best golfer,
demanding skill on the fairway, in approach play and
on the green. They made full use of the rolling
landscape and the spectacular stands of woodland,
azalea and rhododendron to create a cunning,
inventive and challenging course. So whether you’re
a player or a spectator you’d be hard pressed to
find a richer golfing experience or a more
spectacular setting for the Barclays Scottish Open.
